Is it really October?
I have had the privilege and honor to watch and assist John Grant develop his latest series of work "Fairytales and Reveries". Earlier this week, we moved the work downtown for the exhibition at Second Street Gallery, opening Friday Oct 2. I will miss our conversations about these pieces however I look forward to seeing what will come next.

As an extra set of eyes with critical input my "favorite" continued to change as new images were completed. Each piece is unique and heart felt. The work is a combination of photography, printmaking, and painting with pixels. Here are a few details for enticement.

Train Ride to Staunton
VIRGINIA, 2:44:54PM, SUMMER 2009
I road the Cardinal train today with my niece, nephew and sister-in-law to Staunton. My objective was to record train sounds, interview the kids during their first train trip and take a few pictures. Above is my favorite picture of the day. The image has sentimental value, the motorcycle is parked in front of shop where I got my friend tattoo, a falling star.
